BOHO Boutique Bungalows

About

BOHO Boutique Bungalows is a serene, intimate retreat on Koh Phangan blending bohemian charm with modern comfort and genuine Thai hospitality. Located on a peaceful hilltop minutes from restaurants, shops, and beaches, it strikes an ideal balance between seclusion and accessibility—perfect for couples, solo travelers, and those seeking authentic island escape without sacrificing cleanliness or style. The standout feature is the exceptionally warm, attentive staff (especially manager Joom and owners Dennis, Hannes, Robert) who consistently go above and beyond, creating a home-away-from-home experience that inspires repeat visits.

The Vibe

Tranquil, authentically welcoming, and refined without pretension. Peaceful, nature-surrounded setting with modern Scandinavian-inspired design, birdsong replacing noise, and an unhurried pace. The atmosphere feels intimate and personal—you're cared for as a valued guest, not a transaction.

People Especially Praise

• Genuine warmth and attentiveness of owners and staff
• Immaculate cleanliness and stylish, comfortable room design
• Peaceful, quiet atmosphere despite proximity to main road
• Exceptional value for money—consistently best on island
• Welcome coconut ritual and memorable first impressions
• Perfect location balance: calm yet minutes from everything
• Personal touches and anticipatory, responsive service

Kids-Friendliness

Moderately to very family-friendly. The peaceful, clean, safe environment with helpful staff welcomes families, especially those with older children seeking relaxation. However, younger children may find limited entertainment, the hilltop location requires scooter/taxi access, and there are no dedicated kids' amenities. Families prioritizing calm retreats over activities will find it ideal; those seeking structured kids' programming should look elsewhere.
